Yonatan Berg

Yonatan Berg is the author of two poetry collections, Hard Sails (Keshev, 2012) and Hours Next to the World (Keshev, 2014) and one novel, Another Five Minutes (Am Oved, 2015). He is the youngest recipient ever to win the coveted Yehuda Amichai Poetry Prize (2013). He has also won the Ministry of Culture Prize for Young Writers (2015), The Ha'aretz Short Story Prize (2013) and Am Oved's "Beginnings" competition. Berg holds a MA from Tel Aviv University and currently writes for Makor Rishon and Ma'ariv newpapers as well as a weekly online blog at "Walla."
