Mona Arshi and Chris Campanioni

Our next live worldwide poetry reading will feature Mona Arshi from London, UK and Chris Campanioni from Brooklyn, NY, USA, hosted by John Gosslee of Fjords Review.

Tune in for free on November 15th, 2015 at 20.00 GMT. The poets will be reading their work and answering your questions live on air.

Mona Arshi was born to Punjabi Sikh parents in London, and trained as a human rights lawyer before turning to poetry. She completed an MA in creative writing at University of East Anglia in 2010. Her poems have appeared in Poetry Review, Magma, Rialto and the Sunday Times. Mona’s debut collection Small Hands won the 2015 Forward Prize for best first collection.

Chris Campanioni has worked as a journalist, model, and actor. He teaches literature and creative writing at Baruch College and Pace University, and new form journalism at John Jay. His poem “Billboards” was awarded the 2013 Academy of American Poets Prize and his novel, Going Down, was selected as Best First Book in the 2014 International Latino Book Awards.

Fjords Review is a twice-yearly print journal of poetry, prose, and photography. In addition to its companion website, Fjords is available in over 300 bookstores in the United States and Canada. John Gosslee is the editor of Fjords Review. His collection Blitzkrieg Body combines poetry, imagery, and performance art.
